A watercolor of a yellow lady's slipper flower. The plant has a large yellow plant and has three red leaves. The written notation indicates that a description of the flower is on page 510 of Asa Gray's Manual of Botany and that the flower was given to Mary Doane by Mr. Scott. The written notation also remarks that the flower was from Westfield, Massachusetts and was painted on June 6, 1885.
