A watercolor painting of an asplenium montanum and a maiden hair. The written notation by the asplenium montanum indicates that it was sent from Mohonk, NY. The written notation by the maiden hair indicates that it was found on the top of Hawks Mountain in Baltimore, Vermont. Mary Doane found it with Will and Caroline Weelen and it was painted on October 9, 1889.
