Description
A watercolor painting of a smilacina racemosa and clintonia borealis. The written notation by the clintonia borealis indicates that it was picked in Dedham Massachusetts by a Mrs. Arthur Grennough and was sent to Mary Doane by a Mrs. D.S. Greenough. It also was painted on May 7, 1891 and a description of the plant is on page 529 of Asa Gray's Manual of Botany.
