Sabbatia Chlorides and Sabbatia Lanceolata

A watercolor painting of sabbatia chlorides and a sabbatia lanceolata. The written notation by the sabbatia chlorides indicates that a description of the plant is on page 385 of Asa Gray's Manual of Botany, was brought from a woods in Orleans by Mr. D and Mrs. C. J. Day, and was painted on July 31, 1891. The written notation by the sabbatia lanceolata indicates that it was sent from Mohonk, NY by Miss. Procter and was painted on August 6, 1892.
