Description

A watercolor painting of a leontodon autumnalis. The written notation indicates that the plant was picked from Burial hill from the grave of John Howland, the last survivor of the Mayflower. It was painted on September 17, 1891. There is another notation that reads "Can't make it out. Leaves thicks and smooth".
